3. 12th Senate District Debate — Tuesday, October 6 at 7:00 PM

Join shoreline residents to support State Senator Christine Cohen at the 12th Senate District Debate, hosted by the League of Women Voters – East Shore.

This nonpartisan event provides voters with a firsthand look at the candidates' visions for our region, covering state legislative priorities, environmental policy, education, and local economic growth.

On Sunday, September 13th, the Madison and Guilford Democratic Town Committees co-hosted a historic joint candidate forum inside the Munger Barn at Dudley Farm.

Shoreline residents gathered for an engaging evening of direct community dialogue with Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, Senator Richard Blumenthal, Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas, State Senator Christine Cohen, State Representatives John-Michael Parker and Moira Rader, Judge of Probate Seth Klaskin, and state leaders.

1. Local News: Preparing for Early Voting in Madison

Connecticut's expanded Early Voting system gives every registered voter convenient, flexible access to the ballot box.

Early Voting Period: October 19, 2026 through November 1, 2026
Daily Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (with extended hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on October 27 and October 29)
Verify your registration and check official polling locations via the CT Secretary of the State's Portal or through the Connecticut Democratic Party Voting Guide.

2. State News: Clean Energy & Public Health Upheld
